Description
The variable viewing 0.6 to 1.8 filter is designed to be held over
a cinematographer or photographer's dominant eye and allows the
primary effect of a neutral density filter to be conveniently
previewed. By turning its rotatable front ring, this filter's 0.6
to 1.8 density reduces apparent exposure by 2 to 6 f-stop. Within
that density range, different amounts of exposure reduction on a
scene or image can be conveniently compared. The most desirable
density can then be chosen, and using separately available lens
filters, applied to a camera system with exposure settings that
initially correspond to the amount of brightness perceived by the
unaided eye.
